Hey, hey! Welcome to my little corner of the web, my name is Kirsten! The words above are the words my mind was immediately drawn to when I asked myself how I would describe who I am. First, and most importantly, I am a child of God. He fully knows and loves me unconditionally, and created my life for a purpose. I love learning more about His love for me and how to live my life as a biblical woman.  I am happily married to my best friend, and wonderful husband, Chad. I respect him and am so grateful for the way he leads me, and our family, closer to Jesus. I am a bonus mom to two sweet boys, who are incredible. We live in small town, Texas on a little piece of land, and together are pursuing Jesus, raising a family, and building our dream farm. Day-to-day I teach first grade at the christian day school in the small town where we live. My greatest hope is to show my kids Jesus and his wonderful, unconditional love for them, and in response to that love, I pray that they may know him and love him with all of their hearts. Even if this is all I can accomplish, I will consider myself successful. 

In my free time, you can find me doing a variety of different activities. Baking my family’s favorite chocolate chip cookies. Trying a new recipe from one of my many cookbooks. Making a fresh batch of kombucha. Working outside with Chad on the farm. Decluttering (trying my best to not be a hoarder LOL) & decorating our home. Recently, I dove into the world of essential oils, and am loving learning all about how they can support a healthy life and home. You can read more about that here! One of our family values is curiosity and I love learning, which is why most often you will find me at home, curled up with a blanket, cup of coffee in hand, either reading a book or listening to one of my favorite podcasts. Through that curiosity and pursuit of learning, I have found a few different resources that have completely changed my faith life. My heart is for the Lord and I am pursuing a life that puts him first. I’m really excited to share with you what I have learned.
